Next Step.
October 19, 2009 by alvinwongphMy final word.
October 18, 2009 by alvinwongph- I’m sorry for making that editing mistake and would gladly hold myself responsible.
- Theron has every right to feel angered over the mistake.
- Perhaps we could have settled our differences in a much better way.
- One cannot judge this incident to be either right or wrong. Both of us were right in certain ways and wrong in certain ways.
- What has been done cannot be reversed.
- I want to end all this unpleasantness and move on.
- I don’t hold it against anyone that things had to turn out this way.
- I want to call it quits since it will only cause further pain if we continue like this.
- We are broken so we might as well fix ourselves up and stop this bitterness.
- I need not remind ourselves that the more we fight over this, the worse our lives become. It is intensely stressful and I don’t want to fuel this fight any longer.
I was wrong in:
- Retaliating against the insult despite my mistake
- Adding on to the conflict and making things worse
- Not ensuring that the mistake had not happened in the first place
- My handling of the matter, since I had deliberately made Theron look bad
- Being too rash and fuelling the anger
- Making a bad relationship even worse
- Confronting instead of trying to reach a consensus
- Posting up what could be deemed as rather inappropriate content depending on your standards of decency
All parties were wrong in:
- Not taking a step back to keep the peace
That is how I see it. You can disagree, and I would take your disagreements into account. This blog will cease to be updated and it shall only stay online so that the comments can continue to be read and posted. I’m battle-weary and tired of defending and fighting. I don’t want to fight anymore. I want to go and live a life. I want to find peace.
I’m just waiting for one last comment. Then I’m out of here.
Goodbye.
UPDATE: Rebekah commented on this post again, but it shall never appear here because it is intended to stir up emotions once again and is clearly an attempt to create further trouble. Therefore it has been deleted through the comment moderation functionality of WordPress. I see no need to pass comments that are contrary to the general attitude of promoting peace.
Her second comment in reaction to this news was also deleted along with a comment that was so wrought in sarcasm that I don’t know what to make of it.
UPDATE 2 (20/10/2009): One comment deleted today due to strong use of inappropriate language and heavy-handed personal attacks. Note to anyone thinking of posting such comments: These will never appear on this site, nor will I be spending more than 10 seconds glancing over them. Please use your time, as well as your boundless imagination, to greater benefit. kthxbye.
